English Language Sound Booth

Location : 12 University Gardens

The English Language Sound Booth is a full sound proof booth that English Language students can use to work on analysis of audio data and recordings.

The room that the booth is situated in has 2 CSCE PC's. One of these machines is situated outside the booth for use as a standard student desktop machine, while the other machine is also located outside the booth but is connected to the PC's monitor and peripherals as well as various pieces of audio recording equipment which are all located inside the booth via a port panel. This allows students to work on recordings without the noise interference of the PC's fan / DVD drive.
