The Arts IT Support team offers IT support for staff and students within the College of Arts.

As well as offering desktop support to users of Windows XP, Windows 7, Mac OSX and Ubuntu, Arts IT Support also offer services essential to the College of Arts which include :

• Linux and Windows web hosting
• Web content management systems (blogs, wikis etc)
• Server storage for staff and students
• A full backup system for staff, student and server data
• Student computing labs with a wide range of hardware & software available
• Advice on departmental and research based IT purchasing
• Disposal of IT equipment
• IP, DHCP and wireless networking support

In addition to offering services which are specific to the needs of the members of the Arts Faculty, Arts IT Support also promote and support the use of the following core University IT services :

• SSD - Standard Staff Desktop
• Microsoft Exchange Email
• CSCE - Common Student Computing Environment
• IT Helpdesk
