Research Support Coordinator
Since 1997 Graeme Cannon has been providing technical support for a number of research projects within the Faculty of Arts. This work has included database management, website design and the digitisation of research material using text encoding and imaging. Graeme also offers assistance in the preparation of research grant applications for projects that involve the creation of electronic resources.

Before 1997, Graeme worked for Glasgow Museums, at the Burrell Collection, in the area of conservation and collections management. Museum and conservation interests include: electronic collections management systems, polychrome sculpture, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, the technical examination of paint surfaces, polarized light microscopy, record photography and wood carving. He was involved with the conservation and installation of objects prior to the opening of the Burrell Collection in 1983 and with the conservation of the Ingram Street Tea Rooms (Mackintosh) between 1993 and 2000.
Graeme lives in Glasgow with his wife and two children. He also assists his wife, Linda, with a stained glass design and conservation partnership Cannon-MacInnes.
