Introduction

Following the great success of the 1998 to 2002 Digitisation Summer Schools, HATII is pleased to announce the Sixth International Digitisation Summer School for 2003.

The availability of high-quality digital material is central to activities to increase and diversify public access to cultural heritage materials and to enhancing education and research. This one-week intensive programme will be of value to professionals working in the cultural and heritage sectors (galleries, museums, archives and libraries) who have or who are considering digitising parts of their collections.
